Structure of the Electron

Microscopic Electrons fill the Universe

Leshchinsky, Alexander (1999) "Microscopic Electrons fill the Universe".  Chudesa i prikljuchenija (Wonders and Adventures), 5, pp. 21-23.

The 20th century began with the discovery of the electron and the means of its control. The use of electronics changed the world as we know it. Until now our electronic equipment has used the properties of electrons as a whole. We knew nothing about their inner structure. The electron was represented as a charged "point". New research proves that the electron is not a "point" at all. It cannot even be called "particle". It is possible that as yet unknown sources of energy within electrons may be able to power our equipment? The "hidden" properties of the electron have incredible possibilities for technology. We are on the threshold of breakthroughs which will alter  civilization.
